Description
– High quality ornate Spanish silver tureen decorated with two large figural cranes supporting the melon ribbed bowl and a figural finial on the cover in the form of acorns and leaves. It has the Pasgorcy ant makers mark and a five point star hallmark which has been a standard since 1934 of noting Spanish silver of at least .915. It has the original labels for Joyeria Plateria Gonzalez Aragoneses, a fine quality jeweler in Madrid. It weighs approximately 1486 grams or just under 48 troy oz. It would look stunning with light polishing.

Condition
– Age appropriate, there is a slight crease line that is half way down on one of the ribs of the bowl as can be seen in the photos, there is a spot along the rim of the cover that has some roughness, see photos for complete assessment. Please ask if additional photos are necessary.
